Pride – Prestige - Perfection

Prodotti Artigiani - Importatori di Prodotti Alimentari Italiani Autentici

Focaccia

The concept of Prodotti Artigiani is very simple, the finest Italian products from the maker directly to the user. It seems easy enough, yet surprisingly it does not exist in the United States. Prodotti Artigiani’s portfolio of product is selective and personal.

This allows us to market each product individually and personally. We take the time to understand how the product is made and what goes in to it to bring it to the level of perfection. Antonio take frequent trips to Italy sourcing out the best products that are not currently imported into the United States. Our portfolio consists of Tomatoes, Olive Oil, Cookies, Cheeses, and water.

Prodotti Artigiani deals with many different areas in the world of hospitality, from the high end hotels, to the mom and pop shops. We have created a 3-tiered pricing concept for this reason. As an example, we have three styles of tomatoes, an Italian peeled tomato, a San Marzano style tomato and a D.O.P. Tomato. All three have the highest quality in its area, all three with a different level of pricing. We feel that even though the mom and pop shop may not be able to afford the D.O.P. They should still be able to serve an amazing product.

After learning about and sampling your Chocolates it is obvious that we would market it to only the finest restaurant, confectionery, and specialty shops in the United States.

The next step to our concept is eliminating the middle man. A large reason why a great product that is brought into the country sits on the shelf for long periods of time or is too expensive for chefs to purchase is due to the broker or the large conglomerate that marks up the product 30 to 50 percent making it too expensive by the time it reaches the patron. By eliminating the middle man we eliminate that extra 30 percent to the cost of the consumer. Through our research we discovered as little as .50 cents can be the make or break in a consumer buying a product, especially during the current economic state the world is facing. Let’s face it we have all seen great product sitting on the shelf with dust on it because it is over priced. Over time the product deteriorates and the quality with it.

Our goal is to make that product move so the purchaser receives it at its highest level of quality. Prodotti Artigiani is not only dealing to the major cities though out the United States.

It is now dealing with large areas of the South East, an area currently not touched in the world of imported product. Currently our company is working with Kroger Markets, Food Lion, Il Mulino Restaurants, Agatha e’ Valentina, among other smaller proprietors.
